This two-day program promises to be an insightful journey, focusing on the significance of youth participation through volunteering. The course will kick off with an engaging introduction, fostering connections among participants and laying the foundation for team-building activities. 
Over the course of the training, participants will delve into key topics such as the role of volunteering in empowering youth at local and broader levels, exploring the landscape of youth work in the European Union and Turkey. 

The essence of volunteerism and its impact will be unraveled, while discussions about embracing values, principles, and motivation will empower participants to embrace diverse contexts in their volunteering efforts. 

Furthermore, the program will guide participants in designing volunteer-led initiatives, particularly in the realms of sports and environmental activities. 

The training will also emphasize the development of essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes (SKA) vital for effective volunteering. Participants will have the opportunity to introspect and chart their volunteering journeys, enhancing their visibility through the 'Youthpass' certificate.

Additionally, insights into future prospects will be shared, culminating in a comprehensive evaluation of the learning experience. Whether you're new to volunteering or seeking to enhance your existing skills, this training course offers a unique platform to learn, share, and embark on a meaningful volunteering journey.

Target Group Profile: "VOLUNTEERING TRAINING COURSE" Participants

Demographics:

* Age Range: 18 to 30 years
* Language of Course: English
* Lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided free of charge
* Travel fee will be paid for the participants from Yozgat
* Location: Primarily targeted towards individuals in Sorgun, Yozgat, and surrounding areas

Trainer

Selahattin CİRİTCİ
Selahattin Ciritci's academic journey began with his graduation from Uludağ University, where he studied finance and international relations. Building on this foundation, he pursued a master's degree in entrepreneurship education through the English Entrepreneurship Program at Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University. Currently, he is immersed in his studies within the English business doctorate program at the same institution, making significant contributions to the field of entrepreneurship through his academic pursuits and innovative projects.

Ciritci's involvement in civil society and international youth studies dates back to the early 2000s, where he established himself as an expert and trainer. His role in this domain expanded as he became an integral part of the Turkish National Agency, the International Entrepreneurship Network - Youth at Work Partnership, and the European Commission as a trainer. In 2011, he was selected for the Young America Young Turkey program, a scholarship opportunity that allowed him to explore non-governmental organizations, entrepreneurship, and employment dynamics in the United States. He further enriched his experience by engaging in youth and entrepreneurship activities in Dublin, Ireland, over the span of a year in 2012.

A pivotal chapter in Ciritci's journey involved his active contribution to the regional entrepreneurship ecosystem, specifically in the Çukurova region, through the establishment and management of the Mersin University Young Entrepreneur Center - Girişim Limanı from 2017 to 2019. Through numerous training sessions, seminars, conferences, competitions, and international initiatives, he fostered growth and innovation in the field of entrepreneurship.

In recent times, Ciritci's focus has honed in on critical areas such as entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, youth unemployment, and youth employment. His commitment is evident through his involvement in academic research and international endeavors, where he actively addresses these challenges.
